The Chantry Island Lighthouse was constructed in 1859 - and a keepers dwelling on the island was built at the same time. Both structures have been fully restored and tours of the island and lighthouse are run by the Marine Heritage Society. Come back to visit the island during the summer months for a tour and the full history lesson! www.chantryisland.com
